Very good user reviews on Amazon
Memory may not be sufficient for simultaneous editing of large number of photos and videos, virtualization software(parallels), engineering and simulation software, etc
Uses conventional harddrive. Higher power consumption, lower shock resistance and longer startup time compared to solid state drive(SSD).
Battery life is unknown.
Basic GPU allows playing less demanding games (WoW, Sims3, etc) at low detail settings and resolution
GPU is not suitable for demanding games (Assassin's creed, Black Ops 2,) even at lowest settings
14.1" screen suitable for portability; not ideal as desktop replacement or gaming
Built in CD/DVD drive; allows watching movies and software installation from CD/DVD
No integrated webcam; will need separate webcam purchase for video chat (or camera information unavailable)

Put this into a old T60 for a total of 4gb. Seems to run fast and was very easy to upgrade. Received the memory 2 days before the advertised date. I would buy it again.... so far it works great without any problem. It was easy to install and works to perfection, I recommend with eyes closed... This upgrade helped my lagging laptop a lot! The install wasn't too much of a problem although I did find I had 2X 512's instead of 1G. Perhaps I'll change that one out as well to max out the RAM sinc... I upgraded from 2x1GB chips to two of these 2GB chips for a total of 4GB, however, only 3GB can be used on my 32bit Windows XP OS. These chips were a direct fit and had no issues, just install, power... It arrived very quickly. I opened the laptop, put it in and with 3G of RAM I could feel an improvement compared to only 2G.The memory is produced by an unknown company, but it works.... The memory does not work on a T60 type 2007, the seller must specify in which types this memory can work, fortunately it work on a Lenovo x100e who also required memory upgrade, so my money didn’t go ... We had an older IBM Thinkpad that worked fine but was too slow - even my 4th grader wouldn't even use it. Instead of buying a new laptop, we bought this memory to upgrade. It was easy to install (yo... Great, on time, item arrived in perfect condition, works as expected. Thanks for a great online purchasing experience. If I need a similar item, will purchase from "Hynix, Infineon, Samsung" again....
