Received my HP 455 yesterday and unboxed it. Got everything out and hooked up, turned on the computer and got an error screen. Told me that either it was shut down improperly or the software had been ... I wanted a "no frills" laptop for emails, online surfing, and some photo editing, and especially wanted Windows 7. This computer is perfect for my needs. It's fast, quiet, holds it's battery power f... computer was advertised as Window 7 Pro but on the bottom of the computer it said it had Windows 8...It has Windows 7 Pro on the computer with discs to upgrade to Windows 8...that wasn't stated in the... The are many issues with this purchase. The most importantly it was not what was paid for! Memory is half what was posted! Second the hard drive is also less than half the size posted. Third and least... got this as an upgrade for my son. not a lot of bells and whistles but it's still a nice step up speed wise from his previous unit. after checking online and at stores this was very competitively pr...
