    Low-cost processor suitable for basic tasks such as internet, music, movies.
    Processor not suitable for multitasking, and computation intensive tasks such as advanced photo and video editing, etc.
    Memory may not be sufficient for simultaneous editing of large number of photos and videos, virtualization software(parallels), engineering and simulation software, etc
    Uses conventional harddrive. Higher power consumption, lower shock resistance and longer startup time compared to solid state drive(SSD).
    7 hrs battery life is better than average
    Basic GPU allows playing less demanding games (WoW, Sims3, etc) at low detail settings and resolution
    GPU is not suitable for demanding games (Assassin's creed, Black Ops 2,) even at lowest settings
    13.3" screen suitable for portability; not ideal as desktop replacement or gaming

    This is my first Mac computer. My first four computers ran Win 3.1, Windows 95, XP, and Vista (from about 1995-present). I have quite a lot of time spent on each of them. Switching from Windows to ... Well I must say I am very happy i did not buy apple's first iteration of the 13" aluminum macbook last year b/c they really got it right the second time around upgrading it to a macbook pro! Its nice... I just got my brand new 13.3" Macbook Pro in the mail. I customized mine with 4GB of RAM and a 250 GB hard drive, but with the entry-level 2.26 GHz Intel processor.
